Lutheran Services in Iowa currently seeks a full-time Accounting Manager in Des Moines.
What You'll Do
The Accounting Manager is responsible for the supervision and control of the general ledger accounting function to ensure accurate and timely financial statements prepared in accordance withgenerally accepted accounting principles. Supervise the accounting processes for cash disbursements and receipts, investments, fixed assets, indirect cost allocations, and the LSI Foundation. Maintain the Financial Edge system and maximize efficiency while ensuring an appropriate level of internal control.
What You'll Need
Bachelor of Arts or Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. Minimum of five years of work experience, with two years supervisory experience preferred. Work experience in a human service organization and a CPA is preferred.
