Job Description

Nesco Resource, 14 time winner of the Best In Staffng Award, is looking for data entry professionals for a reputable Valley View based non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to being on a PC for most of the day, be detail oriented, and have knowledge of Adobe or equivalent programs. This is an on-site, first shift opportunity and the starting pay is $17/hour.

Position Objective : Learn all aspects of reporting and help where needed in all departments. This role will serve as general support for our construction news and reporting team.

Duties and Responsibilities : The essential functions of the position listed below are those job functions which are indispensable to the position and must be performed with or without accommodation.
-Coordinate the flow of all incoming information, including plans and specifications, through accurate and efficient data entry
- Assist any visitor or members of the BX as needed by phone or in person
-Call appropriate contacts for project information
- Enter data into our internal database
-Scan and process both physical documents and electronic files in support of our construction news and reporting website.
-Digital research including, but not limited to, newspapers, municipal websites, design firm websites and contractor websites ¿ May be asked to fill in at the front desk
-Other duties as assigned include, but not limited to, learn and assist with apparent lows, contract awards, bidders lists and naming plans/specs, searching and assisting reporters Knowledge /

Experience / Requirements:
-High School Diploma with some office experience required. Some college preferred
-Ability to accurately proof-read own work ¿ Must be comfortable working on computers for a large portion of the day
-Strong communication skills in person or on the phone
-Organizational / time management skills, as well as flexibility
-Independent, self-motivated but able to work in a team environment
-Professional appearance and manner, business casual attire
-Knowledge of Adobe or PDF equivalent programs and Windows
-Strong typing skills, minimum 45 wpm
-Ability to follow directions

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm, 30 minute lunch (accomodations can be made if employee prefers a 60 minute lunch)

Compensation: $17/hour – full time, in-house position located in Valley View, OH The following benefits would be available after being fully hired:

-Health insurance available through Anthem, 80/20 single coverage paid for by employer. Family coverage available at employee's expense
-401K - after one year of service employer puts in 3% and matches up to another 5%, employee can contribute up to 75%
-Dental/vision insurance available at employee's expense
-13 paid days of PTO after 1 year of service
-8 paid holidays
-Employer paid life insurance policy: $25,00
