We are looking for an Elevator Service Tech who is an expert in identifying and troubleshooting complex technical issues in elevators. What You'll Be Doing

• Performing routine and emergency service on elevators. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of elevator systems.
• Investigating operational problems of electric, mechanical and hydraulic nature in elevators, dumbwaiters and wheelchair lifts and resolving them efficiently.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections of elevators to ensure their efficient operation and conformance to safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Performing annual tests to ensure the proper operation of safety devices.
• Proposing modifications and assessing the suitability of present elevator equipment and new equipment.

What We're Looking For

• Certified Elevator Technician license or State-Issued Elevator Mechanic License
• Experience in performing complex maintenance, servicing, repair and troubleshooting of elevators and other related machinery and equipment
• Proven ability to investigate problems of an electric, mechanical and/or hydraulic nature related to the operation of elevators, dumbwaiters and wheelchair lifts
• Meticulousness in conducting preventative maintenance and inspections of elevators
• Propensity for ensuring the proper operation of safety devices through annual testing
• Proficiency in determining the suitability of present elevator equipment, proposed modifications and new equipment.
