Position: Excavator Operator
LEAD Southeast National
St. Petersburg,FL and Pinellas County
7AM to 5:30 PM Monday-Friday
$23.00-24.00 per hour

LEAD is seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, grade, and move materials on various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

**Responsibilities:**

* Operate excavators safely and efficiently to excavate trenches, foundations, and other structures according to project specifications.
* Grade and level excavated areas to prepare for construction.
* Load and unload materials using excavator attachments.
* Maintain and inspect equipment daily, reporting any issues to supervisors.
* Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
* Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Qualifications:**

* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
