Job Summary

• Start Date: November 2024
• Hours:  Tuesday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm; Guaranteed 40 hours/week; family would appreciate help on occasional Mondays
• Hourly Rate: $25-39/hour
• Children:  Baby Due In November
• Paid Vacation:  One week nanny’s choice, one week family’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all major holidays
• Requirements:  
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time in-home infant care experience 
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Up-To-Date Vaccinations 
  • Preference is given to candidates with a background in working for healthcare professionals. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: If you’re an elite nanny, then this one’s for you! Bring your formidable character and abundant infant expertise right this way for what could be a career-making opportunity. These VIP parents have sky-high standards for their soon-to-be family of three, so nothing short of the crème de la crème of nannies will do. Speaking of French, caregiver extraordinaire doesn’t even begin to describe you. Educated and worldly, you can communicate in multiple languages and are familiar with many cultures. These first-time parents want their nanny to teach their baby about our incredible world and develop their little one into a global citizen. That’s why you’ll score a jackpot of bonus points if you’re bilingual and college educated. You’ll combine your creativity and infant experience to make learning fun for this curious newborn. Incorporating all the senses, you’ll host puppet shows, have sing-a-longs, break out into dance parties, and play “This Little Piggy.” You’ll work Tuesdays to Fridays, from 7 am to 5 pm with the option to pick up the same shift on Mondays if *you* want the extra hours. Mom and Dad both work from home, Grandma’s around to lend a hand, and there will be at least one overnight nanny. That means you’ll be the engine in a well-oiled machine! Of course, priority number one will always be the baby. You’ll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide the newborn’s naps. Both parents are doctors, so hygiene and cleanliness are of the utmost importance, and you’ll help keep this home ultra-organized, stocked with supplies, and spotless! This includes handling everyone’s laundry, washing bottles and dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, and prepping healthy meals. Like a delicious soufflé, you’ll rise to the top of our list if you’re also a bit of a chef who’s able to cook tasty, culturally diverse, and nutritious dinners. There are no pets, no allergies, and this is an alcohol-free home. Knowing how to swim is a nice-to-have, and you will need to drive using your own vehicle.
