The Benton County Health Department is currently seeking Case Investigators to join the Communicable Disease team.
Job Summary
The Benton County Health Department is currently seeking a Contact Investigator to join the team. This position works as part of an interdisciplinary team to conduct communicable disease case investigation and contact tracing in accordance with the Oregon Health Authority Investigative Guidelines while utilizing state databases for collecting data and case information. May provide specialized services depending on area of assignment.

- Limited Duration through June 30, 2025 : While further funding is a possibility, this position is a limited-duration position that is limited to the duration of the grant or funding source, or the duration required to complete the project assigned to the position which lasts no more than two years.

Annual salary range of: - $45,394 - $59,554

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Program Specialist (PS22) The following minimum qualifications are REQUIRED for this position: - Associate's or bachelor's degree in public health, or a healthcare related field; AND
- 2 years of work experience in case investigation, contact tracing, case management, outreach or a closely related field.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least six months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent. Another example of equivalency would be 2 years of related work experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Special Requirements - Valid Oregon driver's license. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.
