Job Description

Position: Irrigation Install Foreman

Objective: The Irrigation Install Foreman role is responsible for managing their crew through the successful completion of assigned commercial install projects. The Irrigation Install Foreman participates in overseeing successful project completion on time, job site safety, team scheduling, and communication with field staff.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the crew on projects from start to finish.
• Accountable for completing jobs within budgeted hours.
• Monitoring projects for irrigation plan changes and coordinating changes with the crew, as necessary.
• Ensuring equipment is properly taken care of when used by the crew.
• Requesting equipment and materials to successfully complete the job, as necessary.
• Reporting any equipment or material issues to supervisor.
• Communicating daily with the Irrigation Production Manager on the status of projects and any issues identified in the field.

Qualifications & Specific Skills:

• Commercial irrigation installation experience preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and read and understand blueprints and specifications.
• General knowledge of plant water requirements and irrigation system design.
• A dedication to learning and improving company standards, procedures, and goals.
• Willingness to work long hours, including overtime and weekends, and assist with other projects.
• Committed to continual skill enhancement for top level industry performance.
• Good judgement as related to all job functions: eye for detail, strong work ethic, punctual, ethical, accountable
• Possess pertinent physical requirements commensurate with the job.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.

Reports to: Irrigation Production Manager.
