Job Overview

We’re looking for a social- and design-obsessed designer to join our growing US team. You'll primarily work alongside senior members of the team to aid in projects from brief through to delivery while working hand-in-hand with fellow team members from Creative and Marketing on a variety of projects for nationally and internationally known clients, creators, and brands.

You’ll be able to start from scratch— critically responding to a brief and dissecting what’s being asked. Coming up with innovative design solutions that excite our clients and win pitches.

Endlessly curious and passionate about your craft, you’re a skilled communicator who’s got big ideas. Able to think on your feet to spin up clever workarounds when budgets, timelines, and business needs change.

You’ve got an eye for organization and detail. You’ll have a strong understanding of all the basic design principles (as well as the wisdom to know when and where to break them.)

We’re looking for someone who wants to teach us things as much as they want to learn. Someone who's willing to experiment, to play with new technologies, explore new styles, all in the hope of finding something new and exciting. Your responsibilities will include…

  • Creating compelling and visually engaging presentations that show off our creative ideas in the best way possible for clients.

  • Supporting senior members of the team developing elements of larger design projects; such as product gifting ideas and social brand identities.

  • Be a brand stewart, ensuring consistency in brand look and feel.

  • Produce eye-catching layouts for direct mailers.

  • Sourcing compelling visuals and references to clearly articulate and sell ideas.

  • Assisting the marketing team with designing social graphics for BDB’s social channels and various promotional event collateral.

  • Staying on top of design trends and actively sharing that new thinking with the agency and integrating it into your projects.

Experience…

  • 1-2 years in an agency, design studio or similar professional/commercial practice

  • An equivalent bachelors or education in Graphic Design

  • Strong verbal and presentational experience

  • Designing for social platforms
