The Labor & Delivery Charge Nurse will join a fantastic Women & Children's Health department in the Central Valley area. This Baby-Friendly department is part of an award-winning community medical center. This 150+ bed medical center is a Level 2 trauma center and has achieved the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. This medical center also has a well-established Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The Labor & Delivery Charge Nursewill inspire a culture of respect, diligence and innovation. This is a great opportunity to gain more experience helping run a reputable unit by helping oversee staff, assisting with scheduling, providing training and serving as a department resource. The Nurse Leader will ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks. The Labor & Delivery Charge Nurse will provide high quality care to their patients and will actively engage in their unit's performance improvement activities.
