Seeking overnight sanitation tech for our food processing plant in Woodinville. Position is Monday through Friday 7:30 PM- 4 AM.
Work Environment: The physical environment requires a Level 1 Sanitation Tech to work in and out of a climate-controlled facility regulated between 36- to 38- degrees Fahrenheit. Conditions on production floor may also include chemical use, wet floors, and equipment. Personal Protective Equipment is required on the production floor. Employee must be aware of surroundings and be safety minded. Must be able to work in cold, wet environment. Physical Requirements: Standing; walking; bending; reaching overhead and out in front; lifting up to 30 lbs.; hand dexterity in handling both small and large objects; ability to work with chemicals.
Position Summary: Support the Quality Assurance, Food Safety and Security Programs. Promotes and ensures a consistent level of food safety and quality by thorough cleanings and diligence in nightly sanitation activities.
Responsibilities:
• Strive to prevent accidents by following proper chemical and workplace safety practices.
• Keep assigned areas clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Remove garbage and waste.
• Follow sanitation procedures for thorough cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, parts, floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Wipe down electronics or sensitive equipment.
• Ensure water is used sparingly.
• Ensure sanitation tools and equipment are maintained properly.
• Cleans and sanitizes assigned plant or office space with minimal assistance.
• Remove trash.
• Follow high risk area requirements.
• Complete assigned special projects in a timely manner.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation duties in assigned areas.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
SQF & HARPC Responsibilities:
• Maintain a high level of Food Safety and Product Quality through the cleaning and sanitation of food processing before start of production.
• Prevent cross contamination
