JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is specifically a sporting goods/power-sports/hunting equipment type of setting. Experience and knowledge in this setting is key

Communication and Ordering

• Consistently communicate with the Store Manager regarding needs and suggestions for products
• Ensure timely placement of product orders

Pricing and Monitoring

• Regularly monitor and set pricing of department products, considering the competitive environment, acceptable gross margin, and customer feedback

Vendor Relations

• Build and maintain quality relationships with vendors to establish long-term partnerships

Team Development

• Work with the Loading/Receiving team Lead, mentoring them in effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving
• Delegate tasks and follow up to ensure proper completion, using these interactions for evaluation and coaching

Staff Management

• Manage and direct staff with a focus on developing their self-management skills
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment, including customer entryways

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in retail operations, specifically agriculture or hunting and sporting gear and equipment. Examples include 4 wheelers, Dirt Bikes, ATV's, Quads, Side by Sides, Fishing, hunting equipment, etc.

SCHEDULE & PAY

• Monday - Friday
• Day shift
• Weekends when needed
• Starts at $45k
