Position Overview:
We're seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our team as Travel Instructors. This role offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time options available for candidates residing in Oregon. You'll primarily teach at off-campus facilities, conducting labs and clinical sessions for dedicated student cohorts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures and guide students through curriculum requirements
- Demonstrate and teach essential healthcare skills in lab settings
- Mentor students during clinical rotations, assigning duties and evaluating performance
- Prepare students for state board examinations
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Complete necessary documentation and assessments

Typical Schedule:
- Labs: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM (adjustable to 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM if needed)
- Clinicals: 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- 5-day lab sessions and 6-day clinical rotations
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed RN with an active, unencumbered Oregon license
- Minimum of ONE YEAR full-time nursing experience (per state regulations)
- Experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facilities preferred
- Previous teaching experience or willingness to complete our Train-the-Trainer program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing future healthcare professionals
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Proficiency in PC navigation and basic software applications
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
